Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. SavePlate extracts recipes from links you submit. We do not claim ownership of original videos or recipes on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, or other source sites.

Notice of claimed infringement

If you are the owner of a copyright (or authorized to act for the owner) and believe material available through SavePlate infringes that copyright, send a notice via the SavePlate support form. Put "Copyright notice" in the message. Where the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) applies, your notice should include substantially:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with a SavePlate URL or enough detail to locate it (a screenshot helps)
• Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement that the information is accurate, and under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the owner

If the DMCA does not apply, send the same details under your local law. Incomplete, bulk, automated, or knowingly false notices may be ignored or may create liability (including under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) where the DMCA applies).

What we may do

After a complete notice we may remove or disable access to the material, ask for more information, limit access in some jurisdictions, terminate repeat infringers, or refer the matter to counsel or law enforcement. We may remove content for other reasons, including breach of the Terms of Service. We do not have to give reasons for a decision.

Users who submitted a link remain responsible for that User Content. A takedown of an extracted copy does not decide ownership of the original video on a Source Platform.

Counter-notice

If your imported recipe was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to keep a personal copy, write to us via the support form with: your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and consent to jurisdiction of the courts identified in the Terms (Spain, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise). We may restore the material unless the original complainant seeks a court order, where that procedure applies.
