This Privacy Policy describes how membri ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, processes, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile applications, including Chefly, Shine, Roast Me, and any future apps (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
1. Interpretation and Definitions
1.1 Definitions
- You means the individual using the Service or the organization on whose behalf the Service is used.
- User Content means photos, images, text, recipes, prompts, or other inputs you upload or submit through the Service.
- Usage Data means data collected automatically through use of the Service, including device information, activity logs, and analytics data.
- Personal Data means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Data
We do not currently collect personal data from users. Your information stays on your device in offline mode. We do not store names, emails, or other identifying information on our servers. If we introduce account creation or contact forms in the future, we will update this Policy and collect only what is necessary.
2.2 User Content
When you use AI features (recipe generation, photo editing, roasts, etc.), your inputs—including prompts, photos, or text—may be sent to third-party AI providers to deliver the service. We do not store this content on our servers except where necessary to provide features (e.g. syncing recipes in Chefly via Supabase). Such stored content is not linked to personal identifiers.
2.3 Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect technical data when you access the Service, including:
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address and approximate location (based on IP)
- Crash logs, performance data, and interaction events (if analytics are enabled)
2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies, local storage, and similar tools to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and measure engagement. You can adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some features may not function correctly without them.
2.5 Support and Communications

We use collected data to:

- Generate and deliver AI-created content (recipes, roasts, edits) based on your inputs

5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- OpenAI — When you use AI features, your input may be sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — We may use Supabase for app features (e.g. syncing recipes in Chefly). Data stored is limited to app content and does not include personal information.
- Superwall — We use Superwall to manage subscriptions. Payment and subscription data are handled by Apple. See Superwall's Privacy Policy.
- Service providers — Cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processors. These partners access data only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it.
- Legal authorities — When we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
- Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We will notify you before personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion at any time by contacting falete1380@gmail.com.
7. Data Security
We use technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service is completely secure; please keep your software updated and notify us immediately of suspected account compromise.

We operate from Spain and may process data using servers or service providers located in other countries (including the United States). When transferring personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect your rights.

11. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may include links to or integrations with websites and platforms we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Review their policies before providing personal information.
12. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, use, and disclose, as described in Sections 2–5. You may also request deletion of personal information, subject to exemptions under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in laws, technology, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email, in-app notice, or by posting an update on our website, and indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Policy.
